Our Story
Founded in 1965, Chania High School has grown into one of Kenya's most respected secondary institutions, producing leaders across every sphere of public and private life.
What began as a small community school in Thika has evolved into a thriving institution enrolling over 1,200 students across Forms 1–4. Our alumni — proudly known as Chanerians — include doctors, engineers, judges, entrepreneurs, and Cabinet Secretaries.
We are guided by a simple yet powerful motto: Excellence · Integrity · Service. These three pillars shape every decision, every lesson, and every life formed within our walls.
What Drives Us
To provide quality education that empowers students with knowledge, skills, and values to excel academically and contribute meaningfully to society.
To be the leading secondary school in Kenya, producing wholesome graduates who are intellectually, morally, and socially equipped for the challenges of the 21st century.
Excellence in all we do. Integrity in how we conduct ourselves. Service to our community, nation, and world. These are not aspirations — they are our daily practice.
Our Team
Dedicated professionals committed to the growth of every student.
